Meet The Author

Saniyah Baker-Boatwright

Saniyah Baker-Boatwright was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 7, 1999. A few years later she moved to Alabama to reside. She’s an Author, Entrepreneur, and CEO and Founder of TWeen Queen Empowering Sisterhood. Through her organization, she mentors young girls ages 13-19 in becoming the women they are destined to be by empowering, encouraging, and inspiring them. In 2017, with an Advanced Honors Diploma, she graduated from Murphy High School with a 4.2 GPA. In her spare time, she loves to mentor, journal, read/write poems and stories, travel, listen to music, enjoy good food, spend time with family and friends, and of course go shopping. Speaking of writing, being able to encourage young teenagers that they can go after their dreams and break generational curses, even when they are to face challenging situations is the main reason why she became an author. Her brand is to empower, encourage, inspire, and understand, young teenagers and adults who are feeling alone and don’t know their worth. Because she was once that girl who didn’t know her self-worth, who listened to societal views, and who was afraid to become the woman she was destined to be, she is now able to pass on her life lessons through her writing, which was depicted in her first book, That Girl Who?. Her most favorite thing about being an Author is seeing and hearing about the impact that she has made on young teenagers and adult’s lives by being so real and relatable in her writing. She looks forward to connecting with teenagers, helping them define their purpose, and cheering them on through their accomplishments! More details on that will be addressed at a later time!
